...and I always suspected I had a tendency to an addictive personality, but hey... Apple awoke it in me and I am now a fanatic for iProducts. My experience with Apple has been OUTSTANDING from the design point of view, to most importantly the Customer Service. FLAWLESS! (And for those who know me a little better, you would certainly understand how much this means when I say it)

My 2 current Apple products:
- MacBook Pro
- iPod Nano

My very probably next one:
- iPhone

I cannot wait for it to be in Asia to get it and play around with it. It looks VERY promising...

Chinese New Year Wishes
...the whole concept of sharing is what drives these days here in Singapore. And I am not even talking about the nasty flu that is going around the office (which people also shared! &^$%&($) I am talking about auspicious wishes, which are highly recommended to be shared as a way of also attracting good fortune to yourself. On that note, I took the freedom of writing a couple for you all.



Oh… what did you say?... sorry?... “You do not understand Chinese?”... OH. I am sorry… then you get someone who DOES and make them read the blog and translate them for you. Take it as a good excuse to get acquainted with this nice language. Thankyouverymuch!

Mandarin Oranges on my desk
…the character in Chinese mandarin for TANGERINE is similar to the one of GOLD> On that note, and in view that we cannot be giving gold nuggets in real life, people give mandarin oranges to each other as a sign of sharing wealth and prosperity. You give two and bow a little; you will get the same in return from the person you are interacting with. Sounds quite procedural; however, I must say: it is quite fun

Companies also give that as a corporate gift. I have received a coupe from hotels and training vendors (along with great chocolates, baked turkey, pork coins and . I must admit I ate some of them; but right now, before going home my desk looks like this:



I think I should just take them home and make a good sangria with them. Call it “FUSION CULTURE”

…on a casual Friday I decided to bring one of my Chinese tops. It should have been red, and although it is one of the corporate colours, I do not feel it will be appropriate, so black it was.

Nacho Warhol... POP-ART

I went to IKEA today to buy a desk for my computer. I even had the great chance of trying those Swedish meatballs with Lingenberry sauce, again... mmmm. Buenisimas!

Despite the fact that it was Sunday, there were not many people in there, turning the evening into a pure pleasurable experience. Good for shopping and exploring; not having to avoid clumsy aunties or kids; not many people saying “Oh so sorry sir” instead of “excuse me, I would like to pass through” How sad is it?. A trip to IKEA makes my weekend!
When I was in the home furnishing section and the decoration stuff (so much useless s**) there were some cool pictures and paintings. I saw a couple from Andy Warhol. the so called creator of the POP ART movement. Creative, delirious, extravagant and very ahead of his time.

Anyway, I saw a blow off mega dimension poster of Marilyn ANDY WARHOL style. At that moment I thought: if Marilyn can have a Warhol…



…I will have one, too!



You gotta love the MAC!!! There are so many things you can do… and I am just starting… It is my new hobby. (some say hobby, others say addiction… tomatoooo / tomaaaato)

Hay un canta-autor Argentino que es a mi parecer uno de los mejores que he leido-sentido en mi vida. Alejandro Lerner parece siempre tener las palabras justas para expresar los sentimientos por los que pasa una persona en diferentes momentos de su vida. Esta vez me gustaria compartir parte de la letra de la cancion "Volver a empezar":

...and you would be surprised with all the options, colours, system requirements, buttons, connectivity this, port that, aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Leave me alone, I just want a laptop!!! - the voice in my head was screaming while all the phony salesmen came to tempt me with their products.

Have you thought of an Apple computer? – I heard; as I turned looking for the face that went along that idea I realized it was the same voice in my head talking.

Of course I thought of an Apple! – the same voice in my head answered to itself – You know I have been thinking of a Aple for a while now!

At that very moment I had a revelation, with two voices in my head talking to me; two salesmen talking to me; a kid playing Nintendo (noisy stuff, I tell you) and some random Chinese New Year “Gong Xi… Gong Xi” sonf playing in the background… I had the revelation: You need a computer that is able to process all the info and cope with many tasks as you are doing right now.

I thought of my previous PC laptps and I realized maybe it is time to give Apple a chance to prove it is as sturdy and safe and cool as it prays.



MacBook Pro… my new best friend. I think it looks stunning; it feels smooth; it sounds great; and I sincerely cannot wait to get all the Mac functions working right as I am just about to go utterly nuts with al he changes in the system and buttons and shortcuts. Dos mio!

Blonde in "wildlifederness"

And it is Friday again. I think this blogging thing is becoming a Friday thing for me. Not good. I need to sit and write more.

However, as Friday unfolds, my inbox gets clogged with 3MB funny videos. Sometimes you get the same video three times… lovely.

Anyway, tapping on the idea of blondes and their supposedly lower IQ (of course not applicable to all my gorgeous smart blonde friends); this is a video to exemplify that blondeness ALSO exists in wildlife.
