Nacho in Argentina... Argentina in Nacho.

And the day arrived, as anything else in life. The long awaited moment in which I will step foot in my country again, after 2 ½ years of living overseas I finally came to Argentina to visit friends and family; attend a wedding and visit some natural wonders of my country.

I do not know where to start explaining how nice it is to be here again: the air, the food, the friends, the feeling, the memories, the shopping (Melissa, you though we were bad in Thailand?. HA HA HA well, you have no idea how much worse I could get!! It is good you are NOT here!).

It is said that a picture speaks a 1000 words so here are a couple for you all. I hope you can enjoy it “second hand” through my images and little stories.

My Flag and my vsit to the Obelisco. My first steak (Devrim, that was for YOU as I promised!) and some coffees... many of them indeed (That is for YOU Teresa!)

AH!... This country, this country...

LIBRA is in the air...

Krishna

…everywhere I look around!

At the beginning she was my trainee buddy, my Chinese lessons buddy (GOD! Did we suck at it or what?), and within weeks she became one of my closest friends in Singapore. Today it is her birthday and I would LOVE to give her a hug. However, distances got in the way and and eHug will have to make it.

FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS KRISHNITA!!!

We miss you…

A quick one...

... I was just sent this link and it touched my heart.
(Thanks Gitti!)

I am steps away to visiting my country and all the sweet memories of my childhood will come back to my mind. I can certainly consider myself blessed with a great upbringing and childhood; and for that i will always be grateful to my parents and family. Surprisingly enough, not many people can, for several reasons. Sad reasons most of them.

The link I am sharing is one that will give you the great chance of helping children that might not remember their childhood in a brighter note, that will grow up wishing growing up was quicker and less painful, less traumatic. A kid should not have these thoughts, a kid should not experience this feeling. Children must be happy for they are the future of this world. Hopefully a happy one.

Please support this cause, it takes 1 minute.

Pictionary Challenge 2006

Pictionary 2006

I love
Pictionary. I think it is a very creative game (after CRANIUM of course) You get to draw and people try to guess what the secret message is.

I have just created one of my own.

* Clue: It truly reflects this moment of my life.
* Challenge: What does it mean?

I will anxiously read the different options you share in this blog and reveal the real answer by FRI. Good luck and GO!

The boat of life...

The boat of life

Of course many analogies could be drawn out of this picture:

  • do not look at the past and focus in the future as it is where you ARE going
  • the more energy you put in your life the faster you will get to your destination
  • etc

I will not try to be smart tonight, I am tired. I have had a very hard working week and I just saw this picture, reminded me of a GREAT trip I made with friends to RAWA (Malaysia) and decided to share it.

I am glad if it inspired some extra deep thoughts besides the pleasure of, what I consider ,a visually aesthetic image.

Good night everybody! Que suenen con los angelitos...
