Reader - What the F*** is a “Magic Mic”?
Nacho - Ok, sunshine. First of all do not use the “F” word here, this blog is supposed to be for the enjoyment of he entire family; so is the Magic Mic! Thankyouverymuch, bitch!.

Anyway, we think the Magic MIC is the greatest invention ever since bread came sliced and the movies have sound (How boring would the movies be without sound, really?. Try by covering your ears at the cinema theatre and just watching. Tedious!) :)

Back to the Magic MIC: a microphone with an embedded chip that stored music and lyrics; that when connected to the TV transforms your old boring “stupid-box” into a Domestic Karaoke Machine with 1000 and 1000 of songs. You select the one you like (or hate) the most, adjust the volume and sing to it while reading the lyrics. You can also sing in duets and download new songs if you mastered the one sin the mic already.

Nacho - Listen, Bitch! I told you not to use the “F” word. Don’t hate the player, hate the game, will you?

Some comments on this new acquisition:
- Sooooooo cool! We need to try it! (Jessica – Getting REALLY into it)
- Can we try it now?! (Aditi – salivating as much as I do when I see a steak)
- WOW I will tell someone to see if we can bring this technology to Singapore (Ying – with money sign reflecting in her eyes)
- O H NO! I will not be able to sleep (Andrea – While holding his head in his hands)
- Coool! (Alfy – A man of words)

We will certainly organize KTV nights; we might charge a minimal cover fee

Side effects
- We will soon receive another annoying letter from the admin of the building. One more for the collection…
- We will be brainwashed with the images of Philippines flashing at the background while the lyrics float on the screen
- We might actually improve our singing skills (do not get us wrong, we will still go to the KTV rooms... HERROO!!??)

The Da Vinci Code - Fiction or Controversial Entertainment?

It is a book/movie that certainly creates controversy and polar opinions.

Book
A page-turner. Really entertaining. The depth of the writing style is questionable but the reality is the topic is controversial enough so as to complicate it with intricate style and “Shakespeareanisms”

Movie
Greatly done. Good acting. It gives you all the time a feeling of “dark” and “mysterious”. There is a 3D effet to it that still amazes me.
As one critic well expressed: ‘The movie works; it is involving, intriguing and constantly seems on the edge of startling revelations’

The topic
I would like to highly suggest watching/reading this story with an ENTERTAINMENT purpose only. If you do not anything about Christianity it may give you the wrong impression. If you know something it will shock you. If you know too much you may hate it.

The Egg, the Giraffe and the Purple ribbon

- Are you gonna be at the office?

3 PM – Phone call to my desk from the reception:
- Ignacio, there is a delivery for you. Can you pick it up from here please?
- Sure no problem. (There must be some booklets I ordered last week, I thought to myself)
As I approach the reception I see 2 colleagues inspectioning what it looked like a gigantic transparent Easter egg. Laughing all “AH SO CUTE” sort of…
- Yes, I came to pick up the delivery – I said all excited about the brochures (This vendor DOES print fast, eh?)
- OK, this is your delivery – the new receptionist said, dramatically pointing to the egg.
- Jaw dropping; eyeballs popping out of the head. As I open and read the letter I turn red and match the colour of the teddy giraffe floating in the egg.
