JUMP...JUMP...JUMP...
JUMPOLOGY, a theory I have just discovered in this book a friend of mine gave me as a present. (It is a crazy agenda that suggests you everyday a different fun, crazy and/or exciting thing to do) Today: ASK EVERYONE YOU MEET TO JUMP.
JUMPOLOGY: "When you ask a person to jump, his attention is mostly directed toward the act of jumping and the mask falls so the real person appears" JUMPOLOGY by Philippe Helsman. Even flickr has a section dedicated to this sort of pictures. Nice eh?.
I will start taking more pictures of people jumping. I promise a nice collage in the future. Will it be true you capture the esence of people by doing so?. Intriguing... I know. INTRIGUING!
Speaking of picture promises, TWO unfulfilled promises:
- VEGA: your collage with the FEMALE ASIAN BEAUTIES
- AIBEK: your collage of the ASIAN POSE (trade mark, of course)

Interesting idea!
I thought that making people jump for a photo is when the photographer has
- run out of ideas
- or to inject some energy / fun
- and various other reasons
which I don't know - I take photos and I have never asked any of my subjects to jump for the camera before!
You might have seen pictures of newsmakers jumping in the pages of local newspapers.
I never thought of getting people to jump as a way to drop their masks. I would have to start jumping myself to get people to jump!
